Donald Trump wins PolitiFact’s ‘Lie of the Year,’ doesn’t take it lying down

The bigger the lie, they say, the more people will believe it. Or, in Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s case, the sheer volume of lies will do the trick.
PolitiFact, a Pulitzer-prize winning fact-checking service, has awarded Trump its not-so-coveted “Lie of the Year” award. Explaining “it was hard to single one out from the others,” PolitiFact lumped all of Trump’s lies into “one big trophy.”
On Tuesday, Trump fact-checked his fact-checkers, calling PolitiFact a “left-wing group” that is “bad news.”
