Grim Reaper
by Robert A. Swart
Sixty feet perilously above the river,
Life's always suspended by a sliver.
A thunderous roar, a deathly sound,
With the disaster heroes are found.
In a blink of an eye, who'll live or die?
With loved ones painfully left to cry.
The guilty stealthily try shifting blame:
"No new taxes!" But we all know his name.
