Comments welcome, but...

Due to the increasing frequency of anonymous comments we have decided to henceforward limit comments only to those who have registered with blogger.com (the same as blogspot.com). Please note that registering does not cost a penny.

Previous anonymous comments will be kept, although we have had to reject at least one due to inappropriate language.

While we encourage the give-and-take of discussion, we feel that those who contribute should be open about who they are. This is the same policy that print media uses: Anonymous letters are simply not published.

To those who have been posting comments anonymously we encourage you to continue posting. Just let us know, in the spirit of openness and fairness, who you are.
