Love is a many splendored (?) thing

Happy Valentine's Day! Kinky, Bizarre Animal Sex Should Put You in the Mood! Maybe

Spinning a strand of silk, the male lays out an intricate path that leads back to his "love garden" (that's really what scientists call it). When a roaming female discovers the trail, she follows it back to the source. There, she finds that the male has been quite busy, artistically spraying sperm all over his sweet shag pad. While this trick may not work on human wives or girlfriends (and makes for a sticky, awkward cleanup), mite females don't seem to mind. If one of them deems the male to be virile enough, she'll dab up some of the sperm, thus fertilizing her eggs.
