On the president's team of business and labor advisors are the heads of several companies that have reduced workforces while posting record profits.

In another public demonstration of concern about the struggling economy, President Obama will meet in Pittsburgh on Tuesday with the business and labor leaders he has chosen to counsel him on job creation.
But many of the chief executives have cut American jobs and adopted tactics that weaken organized labor — even as their businesses post record profits.
The executives are members of the President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, which Obama created in January by appointing 26 leaders of companies including American Express, Comcast and Intel. (A 27th member was added in June.)
When he created the council, which also includes two labor leaders, a biologist and an economist, Obama said its members would assist him to "do everything we can to spur hiring and ensure our nation can compete with anybody on the planet."

Repeal ObamaCare. Reform the tax code from the progressive nightmare that it is today to one with a flat tax for everyone - 17%. You can get rid of the IRS at the same time which will save the country countless billions. Stop running the government like a Wall Street gambling outfit tossing around a couple of hundred million here and a couple of hundred million there on bailouts, stimulus and loan guarantees. Finally, quit the overregulation from agencies like NRLB and the EPA and the DOJ which have put the economy in to sclerosis.
Former AmEx CEO said of Obama's "Job Bill" the other day in the Wall Street Journal that it was "an incoherent mess" and that "many of us have suspected that economic illiterates were setting the economic policy of this administration, but this bill reveals a depth of cluelessness that boggles the mind."
Yep.
Obama's envy for higher taxes borders on someone with an incurable crack addition. He wants to RETROACTIVE tax municipal bonds - what the fuck????
And he shows no signs whatsoever of adopting any other ideas except his own BIg Government crony capitalism.
So, Obama can have all the blue ribbon panels he wants on jobs. Just like he ignored his own debt reduction commission recommendations, Obama will ignore every recommendation from this riduculous 'job creation' panel.
Obama is ideologically incapable of adopting policies that are not his own yarn. He megolomania and narcissism won't allow him to admit his own ideas are what is the cause of the problems.
