Obama produces his detailed birth certificate

In a gesture that acknowledged the corrosive and distracting effect that a false but persistent rumor has had on the Obama presidency, the White House on Wednesday released the long-form version of Barack Obama’s birth certificate, which showed that he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.
In a White House appearance, a smiling Obama expressed puzzlement that some people continue to believe he is not a U.S. citizen, a rumor he said has been fueled by “side shows and carnival barkers.”
Citing the serious economic challenges that face the nation, Obama added, “We do not have time for this silliness. We’ve got better stuff to do. I’ve got better stuff to do. We’ve got big problems to solve.”
The belief that Obama was born in another country, which the most recent CBS/New York Times poll suggests is embraced by about a quarter of Americans, has been used by some conservative critics of the president as a means to question his constitutional legitimacy to occupy the White House — and even his basic American-ness.

Actually, everyone has this all wrong. Obama is actually the progeny of an Irish father and a Vulcan mother, and in fact is the half-brother, twice removed, of Mr. Spock of STAR TREK fame. (The resemblance, both in body type and inscrutableness, is uncanny.)
But ... he is still an American citizen because he was born in Alabama! This is why his name is Obama, which is actually O'Bama, as in "of Alabama." The Hawaiian birth certificate is thus a clear and patent forgery.
Going further, the story of THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE is actually an apocryphal story taken from a long lost version of the "Vulcan Bible". It was meant as a prophecy of the coming a leader, born of a Vulcan woman and a human man, who would come to rule Earth.
There are only a few scholars, some on earth, some on Vulcan, who have been able to put the pieces together: That in fact "the Manchurian candidate" is Barack O'Bama (Obama).
Stay tuned....
It would seem from your commentary, Leigh, that Barack Obama - being of Vulcan progeny - is eligible to be president of the United Federation of Planets, but apparenlty not the United States!! ;-)
Even though the president - as well as you Leigh, and Tom, too - and I disagree, I have always endeavored to be critical of his policies when i disagree with them. I have never criticized him for vacations or how he throws a baseball or his birthright or those picayune things that detract from legitimate criticism.
There is plenty to criticize Obama over than the silly birth certificate issue.
Sincerely - The Loyal Opposition
