Bundle Up, It’s Global Warming

THE earth continues to get warmer, yet it’s feeling a lot colder outside. Over the past few weeks, subzero temperatures in Poland claimed 66 lives; snow arrived in Seattle well before the winter solstice, and fell heavily enough in Minneapolis to make the roof of the Metrodome collapse; and last week blizzards closed Europe’s busiest airports in London and Frankfurt for days, stranding holiday travelers. The snow and record cold have invaded the Eastern United States, with more bad weather predicted.
All of this cold was met with perfect comic timing by the release of a World Meteorological Organization report showing that 2010 will probably be among the three warmest years on record, and 2001 through 2010 the warmest decade on record.
How can we reconcile this? The not-so-obvious short answer is that the overall warming of the atmosphere is actually creating cold-weather extremes. Last winter, too, was exceptionally snowy and cold across the Eastern United States and Eurasia, as were seven of the previous nine winters.
For a more detailed explanation, we must turn our attention to the snow in Siberia.

Are we back to Global Warming again? I thought it was Climate Change. I wish the 'warmists' would make up their minds and just stick with one theory rather than changing back and forth between Global Warming and Climate Change.
But, I think I get the crux of the NTY article - whatever the weather pattern, it's due to global warming...climate ch...no, stick with Globam Warming! So, the weather turns cold and wet? It's global warming, they say. Weather turns hot? Global warming. No change? Global warming. More hurricanes? Global warming. No hurricanes? Global warming. Earthquakes? Global warming. Growing ice in Antarctica? you guessed it - Global warming once again! Climate Change must be so old fashioned - a theory from the 2000s and not the 20-teens.
A few years ago, the report in the IPCC predicted a 'warm and dry' winter of 2010. But, the winter of 2010 has been brutally cold with record snowfall and one of the coldest Decembers in history in the northern hemisphere. Obviously, a result of Global Warming...I mean Climate Change...no, no Global Warming...How could the models be wrong? But, then that might just be the rub. The 'warmists' aren't really using the actual weather to determine Global Warming, but are just relying on their models as the evidence they need to promote Global Warming.
global warming is really not a science but a faith-based initiative of people with socialist ideology who seek to redistribute wealth. Global warming isn't an end, but a means to an end. Why else did the attendees of a global warming summit in Cancun, Mexico last month conclude that by 2020 rich nations need to transfer $100 billion a year to poor nations to help them "mitigate" the adverse impacts of warming.
GLobal warming is such a scam it's utterly ridiculous for educated people to take it seriously anymore. There has been no significant warming since 1998, yet with hundreds of millions at stake in research grants, a large portion of the climate science community go along with the scam and stifle dissent as 'deniers'.
Global warming and/or climate change are about one thing - money. It's not about saving planet or saving humanity. To argue otherwise is pure folly.
