Low favorables: Dems rip Rasmussen

Democrats are turning their fire on Scott Rasmussen, the prolific independent pollster whose surveys on elections, President Obama’s popularity and a host of other issues are surfacing in the media with increasing frequency.

The pointed attacks reflect a hardening conventional wisdom among prominent liberal bloggers and many Democrats that Rasmussen Reports polls are, at best, the result of a flawed polling model and, at worst, designed to undermine Democratic politicians and the party’s national agenda.

On progressive-oriented websites, anti-Rasmussen sentiment is an article of faith. “Rasmussen Caught With Their Thumb on the Scale,” blared the Daily Kos this summer. “Rasmussen Reports, You Decide,” the blog Swing State Project recently headlined in a play on the Fox News motto.

“I don’t think there are Republican polling firms that get as good a result as Rasmussen does,” said Eric Boehlert, a senior fellow with Media Matters, a progressive research center. “His data looks like it all comes out of the RNC [Republican National Committee].”

well, let's see. Nancy Pelosi calls those of us who attend tea parties - terrorists. Harry Reid calls those of us who oppose government-run health insurance no different than supporting slavery. Obama wants to give billions of our hard-earned tax dollars to foreign countries to fight the ubiquitous 'climate change'. Congress has conducted the majority of its business out of the view of the public and effectively shut the Republicans out of the debate on the major issues coming orth from that body. This Congress is litterally taxing us to death and borrowing so much that it will taked decades - if not centuries - to pay back what we have borrowed. Obams has set up a regulatory apparatus to oversee our lives by czars and bureaucrats - all enforced by the unions henchmen that support him. And, not to mention, that Democrats believe the Americans are material to be shaped and perfected by 'experts' (themselves, Vox Verax, etc..) who have the proper 'training' (Democrats, Vox Verax, etc...) - this is what I call the bullying spriit of Democrats; Democrats don't believe in 'governing' they believe in 'forcing'. To be sure, how many times have the Democrats tried to strong-arm a company, media outlet, business, detractors, etc... in the last year? And the Democrats - for the first time in US HIstory - have made owning health insurance. Is it any wonder many Americans are worried? The funny part is the Democrats don't even get it and have the abject effrontery to go after a polling organization that does not give them a favorable rating?

I am typically critical of Vox Verax not because of what they believe or write or who they are as people, but because there is no objectivity in this blog. VV is no more than a supporter of mob rule - as long as 'our team' is in charge, everything they do is a-OK with VV. The only critical piece to grace this blog in the last two months is the Rolling Stone article about Obama's controllers are all Wall Street ex-government types using our tax dollars to make themselves rich. But, sadly, Vox Verax is just another cheerleader for the Democrats with barely a shred of objectivity.

My typing skills are lacking this morning. Below I meant to say that 'And the Democrats - for the first time in US HIstory - have made owning health insurance a requirement of legal residence in the country'.

however, I am sure the point is understood, but I also strive for clarity over agreement.
