Environment: We're number 66!
According to information compiled by Yale and Columbia Universities, the U.S. is now ranked a whopping 66th in their index of environmental performance, which scores countries on factors like greenhouse gas emissions, water quality and habitat protection.
Who's ahead of us? Oh, just 65 other countries, including Latvia (#5), Colombia (#13), Slovenia (#17), Slovakia (#22), Venezuela (#32), Albania (#34), Georgia (#40), Gabon (#47), Iran (#55), and Armenia (#63).
