DM&E boss Schieffer shows up in Rochester, wants to be friends

DM&E CEO Kevin Schieffer spoke at a Rochester Rotary Club luncheon on Thursday, two days after hundreds of DM&E opponents rallied in downtown Rochester to protest the proposed project.

Unlike being his old "my way or the highway" self, he was surprisingly conciliatory. Or perhaps it was not so surprisingly, as he was in the midst of the city that most opposes the project. Meanwhile, the AP has picked up the controversy here.
