Republicans push for open debate on Iraq War

Rep. Walter Jones and other House Republicans want Congressional debate on Iraq

Republican Reps. Walter Jones (N.C.), Ron Paul (Texas), Wayne Gilchrest (Md.) and James Leach (Iowa) have joined dozens of Democrats in support of H. Res 543, a resolution requiring immediate Congressional debate on the Iraq War.

The effort is part of Win Without War, a nonpartisan coalition of 40 national organizations asking that the House of Representatives adopt H. Res 543.
