Drought in East Africa

With East Africa reeling from a succession of failed rains, the World Food Programme has warned that a humanitarian catastrophe could engulf the region unless it receives urgent donations to feed an estimated 6.25 million people across Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia.
